Ephesians 2:11. Therefore remember, that you
being in time past Gentiles (non Jewish by race) in the
flesh, who are called Uncircumcised by that which is called the
Circumcised (Jewish people) in the flesh made by hands;
12. That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the
commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise,
having no hope, and without God in the world: 13. But now in Christ
Jesus you who sometimes were far off are brought close by the blood
(death of) of Christ. 14. For he is our peace, who has
made both ( Jew and Gentile) one , and has broken down
the barrier that divided us; 15. Having abolished (ended)
in his flesh the hostility, the (Mosaic) law of
commandments contained in ordinances (rites, rituals, days,
feasts, land grants, racial preferences) to make in himself of
two (Jew & Gentile) one new man, so making peace;
16. And that he might reconcile both (Jew & Gentile) to
God in one body by the cross, having ended the hostility (the
Law of Moses) through it: 17. And came and preached peace to
you which were afar off (Gentiles) and to those that
were close (Jews). 18. For through him we both (Jew
& Gentile) have access by one Spirit to the Father. 19. Now
therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens
with the saints, and of the household of God; 20. And are built upon the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the
chief corner stone; 21. In whom all the building fitly framed together
grows into an holy temple in the Lord: 22. In whom you also are built
together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Ephesians 3:1. For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for
you Gentiles, 2. If you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of
God which is given me to towards you: 3. How
that by revelation he made known to me the mystery; (as I wrote before
in few words, 4. Whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge
in the mystery of Christ) 5. Which in other ages was not made known to
the sons of men, as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets
by the Spirit; 6. That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and
of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
7. That is why I was made a minister, according to the gift of the
grace of God given to me by the effective working of his power. 8. To
me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that
I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9.
And to make all men see what is the
fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath
been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: 10. To
the intent that now the principalities and powers in heavenly
places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, 11.
According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our
Lord:
Colossians 1 25. Therefore I am made a
minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for
you, to fulfill the word of God; 26. Even the
mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is
made manifest to his saints: 27. To whom God would make known
what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles;
which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
