1 John 2: 27. But the
anointing which you have received of him abides in you, and you need not
that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all
things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you
shall abide in him.
John 14: 25. These
things have I spoken to you, being yet present with you. 26. But the
Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my
name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you.
Luke 4: 18. The
Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the
gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach
deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to
set at liberty them that are bruised, 19. To preach the acceptable year
of the Lord.
Acts 1: 38. How
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who
went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil;
for God was with him.
Hebrews 1: 8. But to
the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of
righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. 9. You hast loved
righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has
anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
Matthew 25 1.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened to ten virgins, which took
their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2. And five of them
were wise, and five were foolish. 3. They that were foolish took their
lamps, and took no oil with them: 4. But the wise took oil in their
vessels with their lamps. 5. While the bridegroom tarried, they all
slumbered and slept. 6. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold,
the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him. 7. Then all those virgins
arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8. And the foolish said to the wise,
Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9. But the wise
answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but
go you rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10. And while
they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in
with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11. Afterward came also
the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12. But he answered
and said, Truly I say to you, I know you not.
