1st Peter 1:12
Unto whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they did
minister the things, which are now reported to you by them that have
preached the gospel to you with the Holy Ghost
sent down from heaven....
Matthew 5:3
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is
the kingdom of heaven....10 Blessed are they which are persecuted
for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 11:12 And
from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven
suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. See:
The
Parable of John the Baptist. If the Kingdom of heaven didn't
come down from heaven to earth then how have the violent been taking it
by force?
John 3:13 And no
man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that
came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
John 3:27 John answered and
said, A man can receive nothing, except it be
given him from heaven.
John 6:33 For the bread of
God is he which comes down from heaven,
and gives life unto the world.
Galatians 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two
sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was
of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was
by promise. 24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two
covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which
is Hagar. 25 For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to
Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free,
which is the mother of us all.
Jas 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is
from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom
is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Hebrews 12:22 But you are
come to mount Zion, and to the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an
innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of
the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all,
and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the
mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that
speaks better things than that of Abel. Aside from the fact that
these verses say "you have come" as in you have already come to mount
Zion and the heavenly Jerusalem rather than you "are" coming to, (when
you die and leave the earth.) You have further verification of this
because no believer thinks they are going to come
to the church of the first born, or to God or to Jesus and the New
Covenant. They think they have already come. So just as the believer has already come to the church, God,
Jesus, the New Covenant they have already come to Mount Zion and the
Heavenly Jerusalem.
