Isaiah 54 5. For your Maker is your husband; the
Lord of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The
God of the whole earth shall he be called........ 11. O you that are afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not
comforted, behold, I will lay your stones
with fair colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires. 12. And I
will make your windows of agates, and your gates of carbuncles, and all
your borders of pleasant stones.
13. And all of children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be
the peace of your children. 14. In righteousness shall you be
established: you shalt be far from oppression; for you shalt not
fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. 15. Behold, they
shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather
together against you shall fall for your sake......17. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and
every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their
righteousness is of me, says the Lord.
Revelation 3:17 (Jesus speaking to the church
at Laodicea.) Because thou say, I am rich, and increased with
goods, and have need of nothing. Don't you know that you art wretched,
and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in
the fire, that you may be rich
2nd Timothy 2:20 But
in a great house (speaking of the Lords house) there
are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of
earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor. 21 If a man
therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel for honor,
sanctified, and fit for the master's use, and prepared to do every good
work.
1st Corinthians
3:11 For a different foundation can no man lay than that which is laid,
which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man
build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood,
hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made revealed: for the day
shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire
shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work
abide which he hath built on the foundation, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he
himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 16 Don't you know that you
are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If
any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple
of God is holy, which temple ye are.
Exodus 39:1 From the
blue, purple, and scarlet yarn they made woven garments for serving in
the sanctuary; they made holy garments that were for Aaron, just as the
LORD had commanded Moses. 2 He made the ephod of gold, blue, purple,
scarlet, and fine twisted linen. 3 They hammered the gold into thin
sheets and cut it into narrow strips to weave them into the blue,
purple, and scarlet yarn, and into the fine linen, the work of an
artistic designer. 4 They made shoulder pieces for it, attached to two
of its corners, so it could be joined together. 5 The artistically woven
waistband of the ephod that was on it was like it, of one piece with it,
of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine twisted linen, just as
the LORD had commanded Moses. 6 They set the onyx stones in gold
filigree settings, engraved as with the engravings of a seal with the
names of the sons of Israel. 7 He put them on the shoulder pieces of the
ephod as stones of memorial for the Israelites, just as the LORD had
commanded Moses. 8 He made the breast piece, the work of an artistic
designer, in the same fashion as the ephod, of gold, blue, purple, and
scarlet, and fine twisted linen. 9 It was square – they made the breast
piece doubled, nine inches long and nine inches wide when doubled.
10 They set on it four rows of stones: a row
with a ruby, a topaz, and a beryl – the first row; 11 and the second
row, a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald; 12 and the third row, a
jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; 13 and the fourth row, a chrysolite,
an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in gold filigree settings. 14
The stones were for the names of the sons of Israel, twelve,
corresponding to the number of their names. Each name corresponding to
one of the twelve tribes was like the engravings of a seal.
