WHAT IS THE GOVERNMENT OF GOD

God possess the physical power to reign over all with absolute control but his wisdom, knowledge and benevolence guide him to use methods that produce voluntary submission to what is good and right. There is no law or power that can coerce human beings to voluntarily change their hearts, to gain knowledge and become good. What God did and does for sinners through Christ brings this government in one heart at a time.

ITS EXPANSION IN THE EARTH

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. 

ITS EXISTANCE IN THE EARTH

The Government of God has always existed in the earth over both individuals and nations. All of age individuals are personally aware that God is ruler and judge over moral action. The reality of his government has been openly displayed throughout history, but one must be "born again" to apprehend the workings of his government in the earth.

ITS RULE IN THE EARTH

Although he "rules the nations with a rod of iron" this dominion is not always evident to heedless or ignorant men. God desires the same happiness and prosperity for mankind that he himself possesses, and his rule in the earth reflects that.

MANKIND'S SEPARATION FROM IT

 Why mankind is separated from the Government of God as criminals, and the fact that mankind is, was not because of the deed of one man. It was because all of mankind has willingly chosen to embrace the same heart or motive that the first man did.

MANKIND'S RECONCILIATION TO IT

Jesus right before his crucifixion prayed, "if there be any other way." Apparently, the answer was that there was no other way. For mankind to be forgiven for their deeds, and restored to good standing with Gods Government. Gods Son had to die in the place of the sinner. Why this was so, is evident even to good human government today.

THE NATURE OF IT

 The Government of God is founded upon his very nature, his creation possessing that same nature. It's laws and structure perfectly fit the necessities of his creations nature and relationships that they may live in peace,  happiness, and prosperity. This has long been known as "The law of nature and natures God," and can be summed up in one saying. "Thou shalt love." 

WHO RULES IT

 God for eternity past has been the head of this government, Jehovah the Word of God has always been the ruler of all that is created. The difference between then and now is that he as a human being now rules it. This descendant of Abraham and King David is now the head of all that is created just as the scriptures foretold.
