THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS WITH HIS PEOPLE

End Time
Prophecy Article

When reading these keep in mind the author is choosing prophecies that are directly speaking of this era. The Gospel age after the age of the Gentiles. Words like Zion, Jerusalem, Israel, the House of the Lord, the Temple of the Lord were being used symbolically by God to prophesy of Gods people of all nations in this Messianic Age. This is the case even if these prophecies had a temporal significance to those who were hearing it.

Isaiah 60: 1 Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.......10 And the sons of strangers shall build up your walls......11 Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night,,,,,,,,14.....  and they shall call you, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel......19......   but the LORD shall be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.

Isaiah 62: 1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness of it go forth as brightness, and the salvation of it as a lamp that burns. 2 And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. 3 You shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God...... 12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and you shall be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Zechariah 2: 4 And said to him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls (because it is not a physical city) for the multitude of men and cattle therein: 5 For I, says the LORD, will be a wall of fire round about her, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Zechariah 6:12 And speak to him, saying, Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH (this would be the Messiah); and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD (the temple of the Lord meaning his people): 13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Haggai 2:6 For thus says the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; 7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come (this again would be the Messiah): and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts. 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the LORD of hosts. 9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, says the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, says the LORD of hosts.

Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Ezekiel 43: 1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east: 2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory. 3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face. 4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. 5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house. 6 And I heard him speaking to me out of the house; and the man stood by me. 7 And he said to me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcasses of their kings in their high places. Because of the very schismatic misunderstandings of the twentieth century regarding the physical descendants of Abraham, a word about this prophecy in Ezekiel. The word is simple. there is no temple in the New Jerusalem. Nor does God dwell in house made of hands. That will never change. One might look at prophecies like these as highly encrypted\encoded. The proper meaning of this prophecy is what this article is speaking of about the New Jerusalem. This temple is Gods people. There are so many of these type of encoded prophecies that are not being included on this page because of modern errors regarding modern Israel. The author does not want to take the time to dispute about these misunderstandings in this particular article. If you need a better grasp on what this is all about you can refer to this to article.      Isaiah 4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. 3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: 4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. 5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defense. 6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Psalm 72:1 A Psalm for Solomon. (Yet in actuality a prophecy of the Messiah and what he is bringing about on the earth.) Give the king your judgments, O God, and your righteousness to the king's son. 2 He (the Messiah) shall judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with judgment. 3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. 4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. 5 They shall fear you as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. 6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.( A reference to the Holy Sprit sent in his name.) 7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endures. 8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth. 9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. 10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. 11 Yes, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. 12 For he shall deliver the needy when he cries; the poor also, and him that has no helper. 13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. 14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: (This is the ultimate agenda for this world and he'll do this through mankind.) and precious shall their blood be in his sight. 15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised. 16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains (This is a reference to the handful of Apostles and disciples he sowed into the earth at the very beginning.); the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city (the New Jerusalem)  shall flourish like grass of the earth. 17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. 18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. 19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen. 20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

Romans 9:22 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared to glory, 24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

1st Peter 1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come to you: 11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12 To whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they did minister the things, which are now reported to you by them that have preached the Gospel to you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

1st Peter 4: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.14 If you be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are you; for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
